Lamiaa Khayrat

Lamiaa Khayrat is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in youth programming and sustainable development. Since January 2020, Lamiaa has served as the Green Growth and Jobs Accelerator Project Coordinator and Youth 4 Sustainability Officer at UNDP, leading initiatives to empower youth in Egypt through program development and partnership building. Prior roles include Youth Program Coordinator, where Lamiaa contributed to strategic planning and regional youth programming, as well as serving as an Administrative Assistant, providing logistical support within UNDP. Previous experience includes teaching at The American University in Cairo and founding Free Spirit Travel, a budget-friendly travel agency in Egypt. Lamiaa's educational background encompasses a degree in Political Science from The American University in Cairo and further studies at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
