Michael Dahl currently serves as Chief of Recruitment, Career and Succession Management at UNDP since July 2020. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Chief of Talent Management at the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) from August 2014 to July 2020, leading a team dedicated to holistic talent management strategies. Michael's experience also includes serving as Senior Human Resources Manager at UNICEF from September 2010 to August 2014 and as Senior HR Business Partner and Senior Management Planning Specialist at The World Bank from September 1999 to August 2010. Earlier in Michael's career, a position was held as Human Resources Officer at the Danish Ministry of Education from August 1995 to August 1999. Michael obtained a Certificate in Organizational Development from Georgetown University and a Master's in Human Resources Management from Copenhagen Business School. Additionally, coursework was completed at The University of British Columbia in 1993.
