Omar Awabdeh

Omar Awabdeh is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in monitoring and evaluation within international development contexts. Currently serving as an Evaluation Officer at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) since May 2014, Omar leads and manages evaluations of complex programs and policies. Previously, Omar held the position of Monitoring & Evaluation Analyst at the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Iraq from August 2008 to May 2014, where responsibilities included designing objective evaluations, developing evaluation frameworks, providing technical advice for program design, and coordinating training on monitoring and evaluation. Omar holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Project Management from the New York Institute of Technology (NYIT).
