Tim Shelton

Tim Shelton is an experienced security and safety professional with a diverse background in various organizations. Currently serving as a Sub-Regional Security Specialist at UNDP since June 2019, Tim has held multiple roles within the organization, including Field Security Specialist from 2013 to 2015. Prior to this, Tim worked as an Alternate Judge for Tom Green County Elections and spent several years with the International Labour Organization as a Field Safety and Security Liaison Officer. Tim's extensive experience also includes positions at the United Nations, where roles included Chief of Premises Security & Guard Force, as well as significant contributions at SAIC and the United States Air Force as a Nuclear Weapons Systems Manager. Tim Shelton holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from St. Mary's University, an MBA in Aviation Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Government from Angelo State University.
