Matthew Canty is an experienced professional in account management and legislative affairs. Currently, as an Account Manager at Unearth since February 2020, Matthew oversees client relationships. Previously, as a Legislative Associate at the California State Assembly from June 2014 to February 2020, responsibilities included researching policy areas such as Environment, Energy, and Education, as well as managing legislation on various proposals. Earlier experience includes serving as a Political Action Intern at AFSCME, where Matthew focused on legislative tracking and relationship management, and as a Resident Services Coordinator at Asian Resources, Inc., facilitating community support in South Sacramento. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Drama with an emphasis in Performance and a minor in Sociology from the University of California, Davis, attained in 2012.
