Anja Hannerz currently serves as a Principal level steering group member for the Net-Zero Banking Alliance and as a member of the UNEP FI banking board at the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative since January 2024. In addition, Anja is the Group Head of Sustainability at Nordea, leading a team focused on sustainability and overseeing the execution of Nordea's comprehensive sustainability strategy. Anja's previous roles include leadership positions at Handelsbanken, where responsibilities encompassed financial reporting and risk control, and Stadshypotek AB, overseeing financial risk management. Anja possesses an Executive Management degree from the Stockholm School of Economics and an MBA from the University of Amsterdam, among other academic qualifications.
