Karine Bueno is a seasoned expert in sustainability and responsible investing, currently serving as a Global Future Council Member at the World Economic Forum since March 2023 and as a Responsible Banking Expert at the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative since August 2021. With a strong background in various leadership roles, including Board Member positions at Rede Brasil do Pacto Global and the Conselho Empresarial Brasileiro para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável, as well as Director of the Sustainability Committee at FEBRABAN, Karine has consistently contributed to advancing sustainable practices within both corporate and non-profit sectors. Previous positions include Head of Sustainability at Santander Brasil and Strategic Sustainability Consultant for multinational corporations, underpinned by extensive educational credentials from prestigious institutions such as Harvard University and MIT Sloan School of Management.
