Jake Bedford

Programme Officer - Nature Economy at UNEP-WCMC

Jacob Bedford has experience working as an Associate Programme Officer at UNEP-WCMC, where Jacob provides technical support in corporate biodiversity measurement. Prior to this, Jacob was a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Plymouth, leading a project focused on long term trends in plankton functional groups. Jacob also has experience as a Volunteer Data Assistant at Hampshire Biodiversity Information Centre and as a Sub-contracted Survey Assistant at Ecological Survey & Assessment (ECOSA) Limited. Jacob holds a PhD in Marine Science from the University of Plymouth and a degree in Biology with Conservation and Biodiversity from The University of Sheffield.
