Najma Mohamed is currently the Head of Nature-Based Solutions at UNEP-WCMC, bringing with their a wealth of experience in policy development, green economy initiatives, and environmental research. From their role as a Policy Director at the Green Economy Coalition to their tenure as a Manager of the Green Jobs & Just Transitions Portfolio at the International Labour Organization, Najma has made significant contributions to the field of sustainable development. With a Ph.D. in Environmental Ethics and Transformative Environmental Education, Najma's expertise lies in promoting inclusive transitions to green economies and supporting initiatives that address climate change and biodiversity challenges.
