Shaenandhoa Garcia Rangel

Shaenandhoa Garcia-Rangel is currently the Deputy Head of Programme - Nature Economy at UNEP-WCMC. They have been with the company since November 2015, leading the coordination of the National Ecosystem Assessments Initiative and enhancing the impact of the project portfolio. Prior to this, Shaenandhoa worked as a Program Officer at the same organization, providing technical input on climate change, biodiversity, and ecosystem-based mitigation. They also have experience as a Lecturer at Universidad Simón Bolívar and hold a Ph.D. in Conservation Biology and Landscape Ecology from the University of Cambridge.
