Eduardo Ospina Serrano

Eduardo Ospina Serrano has a wealth of experience in renewable energy and technology. Eduardo began their career in 2014 as a Researcher and Technical Team Lead for the Hydrometra Group at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. In this role, they led the electrical engineering team in the development of two energy efficient boats for the HydroContest 2015 and 2016. The team won the HydroContest lightweight Innovation prize for their novel control system for flight stability in hydrofoils boats. In 2017, Eduardo became a Professor at the Universidad Antonio Nariño and also founded Solenium, where they served as Chief Innovation Officer and Founder and CEO. At Solenium, they developed a device that improved the performance of solar fields by 18%, as well as an intelligent measurement device to optimize energy efficiency. In 2018, they became Co-Founder and CEO of Unergy, a platform that joins industries, enterprises, investors, and renewable energy project installers. In 2021, Eduardo joined the Board of Directors at Zentrack.

Eduardo Ospina Serrano obtained their Electrical Engineer degree from Universidad Nacional de Colombia in 2015. Eduardo then continued their studies at the same university, receiving their Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2017. That same year, they were a Leader in Innovation Fellow at the Royal Academy of Engineering, studying Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.
