Divya Sharma

Divya Sharma, Ph.D., is an accomplished educational specialist currently serving at UNESCO since January 2022, contributing to significant reports on education and technology across various regions. Divya supports strategic planning and the development of policy frameworks, conducts data analysis, and coordinates communications between multiple international organizations for educational initiatives. As the Future Generations Global Ambassador at The Office of the Future Generations Commissioner for Wales, Divya engages with global leaders to empower youth leadership in preparation for the 2024 United Nations Summit. Previous experience includes co-authoring the OECD Trends Shaping Education 2022 report and participating as a fellow at UNESCO MGIEP, as well as holding teaching and research roles at prestigious universities. Divya holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Münster.
