Eric Falt

Eric FALT is an experienced professional in international relations and communication, currently serving as the Regional Director for UNESCO in Rabat, Morocco, overseeing activities in Morocco, Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, and Tunisia since September 2010. Previously, FALT held the position of Regional Director in New Delhi, representing several South Asian countries. FALT has also worked as the Assistant Director-General for External Relations and Public Information at UNESCO headquarters in Paris, managing political outreach and public communication strategies. FALT's extensive background in the United Nations includes roles such as Director of Outreach for the UN Department of Public Information and Director of Communications for the UN Environment Programme. FALT started the career in various spokesperson roles and press attachments at the United Nations and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in American Studies from Purdue University and degrees in English Language and Literature and History from institutions in France.
