Esther Babatunde is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability, climate action, and youth empowerment. Currently serving as Senior Programme Manager at Lekan Bakare Foundation, Esther designs and implements marine ecosystem conservation projects. As the Regional Coordinator for the UNESCO Youth Climate Action Network, Esther connects youth networks to promote multidisciplinary climate actions globally. Involved with UN SDSN Youth as an SDGs Advocate, Esther manages communication strategies and has earned recognition as a Climate Champion. Additional roles include participation in various youth networks such as the Children and Youth Major Group to the UN Environment Programme and YOUNGO, among others. Esther holds a Master of Public Health in Environmental Health from the University of Ibadan and a Bachelor of Technology in Agricultural Sciences from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology.
