Jyoti Hosagrahar

Jyoti Hosagrahar is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the fields of architecture, urban planning, and cultural heritage. Currently serving as the Deputy Director of the World Heritage Center and Director of the Division for Creativity at UNESCO since May 2016, Jyoti has held significant academic and leadership roles, including serving as UNESCO Chair Professor at Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology and Director of the Sustainable Urbanism Lab at Columbia University. With a PhD in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, and advanced degrees in Urban Planning from the University of Southern California and Architecture from the School of Planning and Architecture in New Delhi, Jyoti has made substantial contributions to sustainable development and cultural preservation.
