Manuel Muñiz

Manuel Muñiz currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Trustees at IE New York College and holds the position of Provost at IE University, where significant contributions include co-chairing and founding the Center for the Governance of Change and leading the establishment of the IE School of Humanities. Manages various roles including Nonresident Senior Fellow at The Brookings Institution, advisory member for UNESCO, and serves on multiple boards, including the Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs as President. Previously, served as Secretary of State for Global Spain, focusing on strategic foreign ministry initiatives, economic diplomacy, and fostering international investment. Holds advanced degrees from prestigious institutions, including a DPhil from the University of Oxford and an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School.
