María Elena Sevillano Gracia

María Elena Sevillano Gracia is an experienced translator and self-reviser specializing in multilingual translation and interpretation. Currently serving at the United Nations since July 2015, María Elena provides translation services for speeches delivered at various UN organs from English and French into Spanish and is responsible for verifying accuracy in documents. Additional experience includes roles at UNESCO and the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons where translation of political, legal, and technical documents was performed. Previous positions also encompass a significant role at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, as well as experience in procurement and sales at CEPSA and El Corte Inglés. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Translation and Interpretation from the Universidad de Salamanca and doctoral courses in Translation, along with international trade expertise from the Chamber of Commerce e Industria de León.
