Niry Ratsarazaka

Niry Ratsarazaka is an Associate Programme Specialist with UNESCO at the Regional Office for Southern Africa, focusing on the Education Sector since March 2022. Niry supports capacity-building projects in higher education and emerging technologies across sub-Saharan Africa, contributing to significant events related to Artificial Intelligence, including the Southern Africa sub-Regional Forum and international conferences in Paris and Nairobi. Previously, Niry held various roles at UNESCO, such as Associate Project Officer and Associate Executive Officer, and gained experience through consultancy and internships in partnerships with African member states. Niry has a Master's degree in International Development and African Studies from Sciences Po and a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences and Political Science from the same institution, along with additional education from the University of Birmingham and the Lycée Français de Tananarive.
