Qingling Kong

Qingling Kong is a seasoned Programme Specialist in Education at UNESCO since April 2017, specializing in higher education project management, including quality assurance and skills development across 14 African countries. Previous roles include serving as a Project Officer focused on higher education initiatives and an Education for Inclusion and Gender Equality Programme Trainee, facilitating projects on girls' and women's education. Prior consultancy experiences with CARE International UK involved evaluating development projects and enhancing financial inclusion indicators, while work as a Public Policy Consultant for IMAFLORA focused on developing strategies for environmental policy in the Amazon. Qingling Kong holds a PhD in Higher Education from the University of Oxford, along with Master's degrees in Public Policy and Development Management from the University of Oxford and the London School of Economics, respectively.
