Wayne Holmes

Wayne Holmes is a prominent academic in the field of education, currently serving as a Professor of Critical Studies of AI and Education at IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society since December 2020. In addition to this role, Wayne is an Associate Professor at the International Research Center on Artificial Intelligence under UNESCO, a Senior Researcher for AI and Education at the Council of Europe, and a consultant for UNESCO in the same domain. Wayne's previous academic roles include Principal Researcher at Nesta and Lecturer at The Open University, among others. Wayne holds a DPhil and an MSc in Education from the University of Oxford, as well as an MA in Philosophy from the University of Greenwich and a BA Hons in Film and Photographic Arts from the University of Westminster.
