UNF Spinnaker
Madelyn Schneider serves as the Editor in Chief and previously held the position of News Editor at UNF Spinnaker since March 2024, where responsibilities included writing news and feature pieces and editing articles. Prior experience includes a role as a Customer Service Representative at BJ's Flowers & Plants from March 2021 to August 2024, and a position as a Student Interviewer at The Public Opinion Research Lab at the University of North Florida from August 2023 to February 2024. Additionally, Madelyn contributed as a Pianist and Accompanist at Grace Community Church of New Smyrna Inc from January 2020 to April 2023. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in English at the University of North Florida, Madelyn graduated with a High School Diploma from New Smyrna Beach High School in June 2023.

UNF Spinnaker
Spinnaker Media is the University of North Florida’s student-run media organization. We actively work to serve UNF students, faculty, and staff, as well as the surrounding Jacksonville community through our news website, radio station, TV department, YouTube and social media platforms. Spinnaker’s five departments include News, Radio, TV, Creative Services, and Business. The collaborative nature of the organization allows for students to learn what it is like to practice the skills they have learned in the classroom in a real world scenario. Our staff, volunteers, and interns support each other’s growth making it a welcoming environment for newcomers.
