David Nothmann

David Nothmann has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the agriculture and biotech industries. David is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Unfold since October 2021. David is also a member of the Board of Directors at CEA Alliance starting from February 2023.

In 2020, they held multiple positions. David served as an Independent Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors at 3Bar Biologics, a biotech company specializing in agricultural solutions. David also acted as a Member of the Board of Advisors at AgroSpheres, a company focused on transforming agriculture through biobased solutions.

In these roles, they were responsible for driving sales growth, improving financial performance, and managing teams.

David Nothmann has a diverse education history. David obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from NYU Stern School of Business. During their MBA studies, they participated in an exchange semester at Université catholique de Louvain and an exchange semester at the University of St.Gallen, focusing on International Business. Prior to their MBA, David earned a Bachelor's Degree from Tufts University, majoring in American Studies and German Area Studies. David also studied abroad at the University of Tübingen, specializing in German.

In terms of professional development, David completed a Global Leadership Program at Sumitomo Chemical from 2017 to 2018. Additionally, they engaged in professional development programs at Battelle during 2012-2015, and obtained certifications in breaking out of a rut from LinkedIn in June 2020.

David has a strong background in ceramics, having pursued Ceramics and Ceramic Arts at Forest Park Community College from 1999 to 2003. David also completed their high school education at Shady Side Academy.
