Alessandro Nava

Alessandro Nava is an experienced economist currently serving at UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, since April 2022. Prior to this role, Alessandro held various positions focused on behavioral science and economic development, including Program Lead at Cenfri, where efforts were directed toward accelerating the digitalization of Rwanda's economy. As Engagement Manager at Cenfri, Alessandro applied behavioral science insights to enhance inclusivity in financial products and policies. Alessandro's background also includes significant work at the Busara Center for Behavioral Economics, the Financial Conduct Authority, and CGAP, specializing in data analysis and research on financial markets and practices. Alessandro holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford and a BA in Economics with Econometrics from the University of Exeter.
