Ana Paola Murillo Nassar

Ana Paola Murillo Nassar possesses extensive experience in refugee protection and migration management, currently serving as a Government Liaison Officer at UNHCR since June 2016, where responsibilities include coordinating the Quito Process and strengthening intergovernmental collaboration in the Americas. Previous roles at UNHCR include Assistant Government Liaison Officer in Chile, Associate Resettlement & Complementary Pathways Officer in Honduras, and Associate Refugee Status Determination Officer for multiple countries in the Caribbean. Additional experience includes positions with ACAI, Nassar Abogados Centroamérica, Costa Rica's Dirección General de Migración y Extranjería, and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. Ana Paola holds a Licentiate degree in Law and is pursuing a Master’s in Refugee Protection and Forced Migration Studies from the University of London.
