Anne-Marie Deutschlander has extensive experience with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, holding various leadership roles since 1996. Currently serving as the Representative in the Republic of Moldova and Deputy Director a.i. for the UNHCR Regional Bureau for Europe, Anne-Marie has previously worked as Principal Situation Coordinator for South-eastern Europe and Senior Change Management Advisor. Prior expertise includes positions as Deputy Regional Representative in West Africa, as well as roles in Mauritania, Jordan, and Iraq. Anne-Marie holds a Master's degree in International Relations and International Law from the Geneva Graduate Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature from the University of California, Berkeley.
