Betty Almonte

Betty Almonte is a seasoned professional in talent management and organizational development, currently serving as a Talent Management and Performance Officer at UNHCR since December 2022. With substantial experience at UNDP from September 2017 to December 2022, Betty held roles including Career Development Experience Analyst and Talent Management Associate, where key achievements involved managing UNDP SPARK, the agency’s first career development program. Prior to UNDP, Betty contributed to Empire Physical Medicine & Pain Management as an Organizational Change Management specialist and held multiple positions at Thomson Reuters, focusing on sales training, operations, and learning strategies. Educationally, Betty is pursuing dual MBAs in International Talent Management and Leadership from BEBS Barcelona Executive Business School and UCAM Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from John Jay College.
