Paul Trueman has extensive experience in the music industry, holding various roles in different companies. Paul began their career as the Label & Marketing Manager at BELLA UNION LIMITED from 2003 to 2006. Paul then joined Cooperative Music as the International Marketing Manager, overseeing global projects and campaigns from 2006 to 2013. Following that, they worked at AWAL, first as the VP of International Marketing from 2013 to 2016, and later as the General Manager, where they had direct responsibility for multiple departments globally. During their time at AWAL, they achieved numerous successful album campaigns and opened new offices in multiple locations. Paul also served as a Board Member at the Association of Independent Music (AIM) from 2018 to 2020. More recently, they have been appointed as the Chief Operating Officer at un:hurd starting in 2023.
Paul Trueman obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with Statistics from the University of Bristol, where they studied from 2000 to 2003.
