Achintya Chandra

Achintya Chandra currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Uni Abex Alloy Products Limited since February 2021. Prior to this role, Achintya held various positions at Vesuvius from April 2005 to January 2021, including General Manager for India and Malaysia, Head of Manufacturing, Plant Manager, Manufacturing Manager, and Assistant Manager in Production. Achintya began the career at PepsiCo as an Executive in Production from April 2004 to April 2005, and prior experience includes roles at Philips Lighting India from August 1999 to March 2004, culminating as Assistant Manager in Production. Achintya's educational background includes a degree in General Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur, along with additional education from Vlerick Business School, XLRI Jamshedpur, and the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
