Apoorv Agarwal

Apoorv Agarwal has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Apoorv started their career as a Summer Intern at BASF in 2009. In 2010, they joined Tata Steel as a Management Trainee in systems and later became a Product Manager IT, where they managed the end-to-end SDLC and development for internal IT projects.

In 2013, Apoorv undertook a Summer Internship at Mahindra & Mahindra, where they conducted a study analyzing the effect of a new SUV launch by a competitor on the sales of Mahindra Scorpio and XUV500.

Apoorv joined Asian Paints in 2014 as a Management Trainee, leading a team of sales officers and launching Asian Paints wall textures in Jalandhar. Apoorv later became a Brand Manager in Innovation, responsible for all brand extensions pipeline for the company.

In 2015, Apoorv founded ZipHop Technologies, where they created an ecosystem for new-age backpackers to explore at their own pace. Apoorv managed all online aspects of the business, including online marketing, web/mobile app development, and customer support.

Apoorv joined Ola (ANI Technologies Pvt. Ltd) in 2017 as a Growth Head for Hyderabad. Apoorv later became a Regional Revenue Manager for the East region, then for the North & East region, and finally the Revenue Manager for India.

From 2020 to 2023, Apoorv worked at Rupeek, starting as an Associate Director of Growth and later becoming the Director of Growth.

Currently, they hold the position of Business Head at Uni Cards, starting in February 2023.

Apoorv Agarwal completed their education history with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, from 2012 to 2014. In 2013, they also attended the Copenhagen Business School for a brief period as part of their MBA studies, focusing on Business Administration and Management. Prior to pursuing their MBA, Apoorv Agarwal obtained a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University), Varanasi, from 2006 to 2010.
