Apurva Bhattacharyya currently serves as Co-President and Treasurer of the Selwyn College Medical and Veterinary Society since June 2023, while also working as an Educational Consultant and Tutor for Libra Education, UniAdmissions, and 6med since October 2022. A Summer Research Intern at the Sainsbury Wellcome Centre for Neural Circuits and Behaviour in 2024 focused on computational neuroscience and data science, Apurva gained hands-on experience with machine learning models in Python. Previous roles include Clinical Observer at NHS North East London Clinical Commissioning Group, where valuable insights into primary care were gained, and Work Experience Student at The William Harvey Research Institute, engaging in various medical research activities. Apurva is pursuing a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree at the University of Cambridge, expected in July 2028, following studies at Brampton Manor Academy Sixth Form and The Brittons Academy.
