Matthew Wally has a diverse work experience in various roles related to community development and banking. Matthew served as the Vice President Audit, Community Reinvestment Act & Fair Lending at UniBank for Savings from April 2016 to the present. In this position, they were responsible for overseeing the Bank's Community Reinvestment Act program and maintaining relationships with community-based organizations.

Prior to their current role, Matthew worked at TD Bank as the Community Development Group Manager for New England and New York from September 2011 to April 2016.

Matthew also served as the Executive Director at Worcester Community Housing Resources from 2007 to 2011. In this role, they managed the organization's strategic operations and assets.

Additionally, Matthew Wally has served as a City Councilor for the City of Worcester from January 2018 to December 2021.

Matthew Wally completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Government from the College of the Holy Cross, which they attended from 1993 to 1997. Matthew later pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Community Development and Planning from Clark University, where they studied from 2004 to 2006. In 2023, Matthew is anticipated to graduate with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Nichols College. Alongside their formal education, Matthew Wally obtained a Certified Enterprise Risk Professional certification from the American Bankers Association in June 2022.
