Jan Persson's work experience includes:

3. GomSpace - Consultant, C, Python, FreeRTOS, Linux, STM32 from September 2020 to August 2021. Worked on tasks such as c programming with FreeRTOS and STM32, precise timing implementations, AD and DA functionality for sensors and control, and PWM for heater control.

4. GEMS PET Systems AB - Contractor, C, Linux from October 2014 to May 2020. Worked on tasks such as implementing and adapting protocol buffers rpc solution in c on linux, implementing and adapting protocol buffers rpc in Python, and implementing log4c.

5. Berotec - Senior Software Engineer in August 2016.

6. ÅF AB - Senior software engineer from March 2007 to August 2016.

7. Stoneridge, Inc., Electronics & Control Devices - Contractor, Java, C, ANT from June 2014 to October 2014. Worked on adapting an ANT-based solution for compiling and building an embedded target to a new compiler, extending cppTasks with java classes, and restructuring ANT scripts.

8. Saab - Contractor, Java from August 2011 to May 2014. Worked on the design and implementation of abstraction layers, specifically communication protocol abstraction and functionality abstraction layer.

9. Electrolux - Contractor, embedded software in June 2011 to July 2011. Worked on code review and improvements for software on an embedded 8-bit CPU without an operating system, including implementing delta-timer functionality and a state machine using function pointers.

10. FoxT - Contractor, web services from September 2010 to June 2011. Implemented a standalone server using Java EE that provided a SOAP-API mirroring a YAML-API of backend-servers, using Ruby code to generate Java, Python, and Ruby code from the API-specification in YAML-format. Jetty embedded was used.

Jan Persson received a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Uppsala University, where they studied from 1988 to 1993. Jan later pursued further education at Uppsala University, obtaining a Licentiate degree in Gamma-ray spectroscopy from 1993 to 1997.
