Mathias Persson

VP Space at Unibap

Mathias Persson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Mathias is currently the VP Space at Unibap AB (publ), a position they have held since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Business Development Manager at the same company from May 2020 to May 2021.

Before joining Unibap AB, Mathias worked as an Entrepreneur and IT Consultant at Slott-Persson Consulting from February 2020 to May 2020. Mathias has extensive experience in Management and Business Development, particularly in the field of "green propulsion" for in-space applications. During their time at Slott-Persson Consulting, they successfully brought "green propulsion" technology to the market and contributed to the development of Earth observation satellites.

From July 2017 to February 2020, Mathias served as the Business Director at Bradford ECAPS. ECAPS AB became wholly owned by Bradford Engineering Holding Company Ltd. during their tenure. Prior to that, they held various roles at ECAPS AB, including President and CEO from January 2010 to August 2017, and Sales Manager from June 2008 to January 2010.

Mathias has also worked at Compingo Consulting as the CEO and Consultant from February 2002 to December 2008. Mathias served as the Sales Manager at Omegapoint AB from January 2005 to June 2008 and the Business Area Manager for banks and finance at Icon Medialab from July 2000 to December 2001. Mathias started their career at FFA - Flygtekniska försöksanstalten as a Research Scientist from January 1995 to December 1998.

Overall, Mathias Persson has a strong background in management, business development, and consultancy, with a focus on "green propulsion" technology for space applications.

Mathias Persson attended KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 1988 to 1993, where they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Aeronautical Engineering. Following this, they continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Licentiate degree in Aeronautics from 1993 to 1998.
