Dave Myler

Dave Myler has more than 30 years of experience in software and solution architecture. Dave currently holds the position of Lead Software Architect at Unibuddy, where they are responsible for leading the architecture of software systems. Prior to this, Dave worked at MaritzCX as a Software Solutions Architect for four years, where they provided hands-on assistance and guidance to engineering teams on architectural concerns. Dave also contributed code to projects and mentored engineers on agile methodologies and software engineering best practices.

Before MaritzCX, Dave served as the Chief Technical Architect at Kerridge Commercial Systems, where they were responsible for integrating software ranges produced by the company and providing technical oversight for data warehousing, e-Commerce sales solutions, and Dashboard solutions. Prior to that, Dave worked at TIS Software for several roles, including Chief Architect, Senior Technical Consultant, and Development Technology Consultant. In these roles, they developed new product lines, provided architectural guidance, coached and mentored solution and engineering teams, and specialized in integration of front and back-office systems.

Dave's career in the software industry began at BOS Software, where they worked as a Programmer and later as a Development Team Leader. Dave then joined Strategix Solutions, where they served as a Senior Developer and Development Team Leader.

Throughout their career, Dave has demonstrated expertise in architectural design, integration solutions, real-time web integration, messaging systems, SOA, EDI, XML, Windows to Unix, TCP/IP, and shell scripting. Dave has a strong focus on best practices, mentorship, and coaching of engineering teams.

Dave Myler received their Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Computing Science from Imperial College London. Dave attended the college from 1983 to 1986. In addition, they obtained a certification in EventStorming Remote Modelling through the Avanscoperta institution in September 2020.
