Kelsey Kerkhof's work experience begins in 2013, where they served as a Teacher's Aide at Girls Inc. In 2017, they worked as a Marketing and Events Intern at Art House Dallas. Kelsey then had two internship roles in 2018, one as an Education Department Intern at Kimbell Art Museum and another as a Development Intern at Dallas Holocaust Museum/Center for Education and Tolerance. In the same year, they became an SMU Abroad Peer Advisor at Southern Methodist University. In 2019, Kelsey joined Teach for America as a Corps Member, and later became a Corps Member Lead in 2020. From 2021 to 2022, they worked as a Graduate Student Teacher at Harvard Art Museums. In 2022, Kelsey became a Customer Success Manager at Matheka, and in 2023, they joined Unibuddy as a University Partnerships Executive.

Kelsey Kerkhof has a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Learning Sciences from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, which they obtained from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they attended Southern Methodist University from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Art History. Kelsey’s earliest education was at Hutchison School, where they attended from 2011 to 2015, although the degree and field of study are unknown. In terms of additional certifications, Kelsey obtained a Learn HTML Course certification from Codecademy in December 2020 and holds a Teaching License-Standard from the Oklahoma Department of Education, obtained in July 2019.
