Shane Pope

Shane Pope has a diverse work experience that spans several years. Shane began their career in 2010 at Western Silverline, where they quickly advanced from a temp Receptionist to an Executive Assistant/Office Manager. At Western Silverline, Shane demonstrated their skills in managing office operations, conducting financial tasks such as invoicing and credit reference checks, and maintaining databases.

In 2014, Shane transitioned into Hospitality Management roles for various companies until 2018 when they joined Flight Centre Travel Group as a Senior Travel Consultant. Shane excelled in managing travel arrangements for clients in the SME sector and built strong relationships with airline representatives to provide exceptional service.

In 2021, Shane joined Beacon as a Global Operations Coordinator before transitioning into the Finance team as a Finance Coordinator. In this role, they took on responsibilities such as managing and reconciling client debits/credits, providing financial reporting, and improving the relationship between Operations and Finance by identifying and resolving inefficiencies.

Currently, Shane is working at Unibuddy as a Finance Associate, where they have taken on the role of a Finance Analyst. In this position, they have made significant contributions, including building the company's data lake and utilizing it to improve reporting and analysis of key financial metrics.

Throughout their work experience, Shane has consistently demonstrated their ability to take on new tasks, improve processes, and build strong relationships with colleagues and clients. Shane has a proven track record of excelling in financial and operational roles.
