Abeer Sabz Ali

Abeer Sabz Ali currently serves as a Senior Officer for Youth Programs and previously held the position of Senior Coordinator for Youth Participation at UNICEF Canada since September 2024. Abeer is also a Youth Ambassador for the Women's Forum for the Economy & Society and a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society, recognized for outstanding academic achievements. Abeer contributes as a GirlUp Alumna and a member of the Association for Women's Rights in Development (AWID). In addition, Abeer works as a Sales Associate at Bath & Body Works, excelling in customer service and training new associates. Abeer has held leadership roles within the Girl Up organization, including Regional Leader and Chapter President, focusing on youth engagement, mentorship programs, and advocacy for social issues. As a Youth Advisor for the Canadian Council of Young Feminists, Abeer supports initiatives aimed at bridging connections between young leaders and Canadian parliamentarians. Abeer completed a Master of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto and holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from McMaster University.
