Giancarlo Pepe has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations. Giancarlo started their career at Accenture as an Analyst and Consultant, where they worked on change management projects for major Italian banks. Giancarlo then transitioned to Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) as a Project and Country Manager, overseeing various health, nutrition, and logistical activities in countries like Sudan, Niger, and Iraq. After that, Giancarlo served as a Human Resources Manager at INTERSOS, an NGO focused on protection and education initiatives. Giancarlo later joined MSF again as a Project Manager, taking on additional responsibilities in recruitment and career management. Giancarlo moved on to Unioncamere, where they served as a Project Management Support Specialist, coordinating initiatives focused on sustainable product exchange within the Italian fisheries market. Most recently, they joined the Norwegian Refugee Council as an Area Support Manager, providing operational support in North Ukraine. Giancarlo's extensive experience showcases their expertise in project management, HR, and logistics, as well as their commitment to humanitarian work and social impact.
Giancarlo Pepe completed their education at various institutions. In 1999, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Business Administration from Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali (LUISS) in Rome. Following this, in 2004, they obtained a Master's Degree in European Economic Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges. Additionally, in February 2023, Giancarlo obtained a certification in Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.
