Manisha Basnet

Manisha Basnet serves as the Manager of Foundation Partnerships at UNICEF USA since December 2023, after previously holding the role of Consultant in the same area. Manisha's career in philanthropic and economic development began at Wellspring Philanthropic Fund, where from January 2016 to November 2023, roles included Program Officer, Program Associate, and Research Associate. Earlier experience includes a consultancy with The World Bank on public procurement, independent consulting with TechnoServe, and serving as an Economic Consultant for FIT Uganda. Manisha also directed the Corporate Social Responsibility Division at Birat Infrastructure Development Pvt. Ltd. between 2010 and 2013, and worked as a Research Consultant focusing on social and economic analyses. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in International Affairs with a concentration in Development Economics from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Economics from Salem College.
