Rachel Wisthuff is an experienced professional in global policy and advocacy, currently serving as the Director of Global Policy, Public Affairs at UNICEF USA since January 2017. Prior roles at UNICEF USA included Assistant Director and Manager, where significant contributions included the creation of UNICEF UNITE and co-leading annual Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill. Rachel began her career with the United Nations Foundation as a campaign officer for Girl Up and advanced through various roles. Additionally, experience includes founding a cross-cultural program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta and teaching English as a volunteer lecturer with VIA. Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies from Macalester College and has pursued language studies at Beijing Language and Culture University.
