Programme Specialist- Climate, Energy, Environment And Disaster Risk Reduction

Amy Wickham is a seasoned professional in climate, energy, and environmental sustainability with extensive experience in international development and disaster risk reduction. Currently serving as Programme Specialist for Climate, Energy, Environment and Disaster Risk Reduction at UNICEF since December 2018, Amy previously held roles including Climate and Energy Specialist at UNICEF and Director Of Development at Social Entrepreneurs Ireland. Between 2013 and 2017, Amy worked as Climate Change Officer at UNICEF Zimbabwe and contributed as Environment and Sustainability Specialist at UNICEF Mongolia. Early career experiences include internships with UNEP and a research role in Rwanda’s Millennium Village project, as well as an audit trainee position at KPMG Ireland. Amy holds an M.Sc. in Development Practice from Trinity College Dublin and University College Dublin and a Bachelor of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from Trinity College Dublin.
