Andy Brooks is a dynamic leader in humanitarian and development work with a focus on child rights, boasting 30 years of progressively increased responsibility in child protection and management. They spent 7 years in the U.K. with Social Services before dedicating 23 years to UNICEF, serving in various roles across Sierra Leone, Côte d'Ivoire, Sri Lanka, Senegal, and Kenya. Since 2021, Andy has been providing technical and management support for UNICEF's child protection programs in the 21 countries of East and Southern Africa. Andy holds an MA Cantab in English Literature from Selwyn College, Cambridge University, earned between 1987 and 1990.
