Devika Deshmukh

Devika Deshmukh is a seasoned professional in social policy and urban development, currently serving as a Social Policy Specialist at UNICEF since July 2014. In this role, Devika has also held the position of State Consultant and has focused on urban issues as a Social Policy Specialist Urban and Programme Specialist Urban with UNICEF India since 2019. Prior to this, Devika was the Director at SNEHA, where leadership was provided for the program on Urban Community-based Management of Acute Malnutrition from June 2012 to July 2014. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Social Sciences from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, a Master of Science in Development Studies from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Mumbai.
