John James

John James is an international communications specialist currently serving as the Chief of Communication & Advocacy at UNICEF in the Central African Republic. With a background in multimedia journalism, John has reported for prominent organizations including the UN's IRIN and the BBC, covering regions such as North Africa, the Middle East, and Central Asia. John's previous roles include Head of External Relations and Advocacy at UNICEF Sierra Leone during the Ebola emergency, and Head of Public Information at UNOCHA in a high-pressure context.
