Johnny Walker

Johnny Walker currently serves as Chief of Security at UNICEF since March 2023, following extensive experience in security operations and investigations. Previously, Walker held roles at the World Food Programme from February 2020 to March 2023, including Field Security Officer and Investigations Specialist, focusing on oversight and security management for food assistance programs in high-risk areas. Walker's background includes leadership positions at Salama Fikira and Base Titanium Limited, as well as consulting for Rose Partners. Additionally, Walker has worked with the U.S. Department of State and Coca-Cola İçecek, and has nearly a decade of oversight and operational experience with various organizations, fostering expertise in security management and risk assessment. Ongoing education includes a Master of Science in Intelligence and Security Studies from Liverpool John Moores University, alongside multiple certifications in security and risk management.
