Tara O'Connell is a results-driven international development professional currently serving as the Chief of Education at UNICEF Vietnam. With extensive experience in social development and public education services, Tara has demonstrated expertise in education strategy, policy development, and sector-level monitoring. Prior to joining UNICEF in 2014, Tara held the position of Senior Education Specialist at the Global Partnership for Education and served as Operations Officer in the Human Development Network at the World Bank Group from 2005 to 2010. Tara is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature at Texas A&M University and a Master's degree in Development Economics and International Development at University College Dublin.
