Ted Chaiban has over two decades of experience with UNICEF, currently serving as Deputy Executive Director for Humanitarian Action and Supply Operations, and Global Lead Coordinator for the COVID-19 Vaccine Delivery Partnership. Chaiban has held various leadership roles, including Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa, where supervision of a division of 280 staff occurred, alongside management of $350 million allocated to over 200 regional and country offices. Previous achievements include mobilizing support for UNICEF’s responses to significant emergencies, managing a team of 97 experts, and developing the No Lost Generation initiative amidst the Syria crisis. Chaiban's early career includes significant roles within Catholic Relief Services across Kenya, Uganda, and Sudan. Educational background includes a Master’s Degree from Georgetown University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Tufts University.
