Thabo Lebaka

Thabo Lebaka is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in social development, currently serving as the National OVC Coordinator at the Ministry of Social Development since October 2012. In this role, Thabo leads the implementation of the National OVC policy and acts as the focal point for the National OVC Coordinating Committee, providing vital administrative and secretarial support. Additionally, Thabo holds the position of Executive Secretary at the Lesotho Country Coordinating Mechanism since October 2016 and works as an Analyst for the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) since February 2019, along with previous experience as an OVC Coordinator for UNICEF. Thabo earned a Master’s degree in Development Studies from the University of the Free State between 2005 and 2006, focusing on development studies and sociology.
