Matt Gilbert has a strong background in the telecommunications industry, with a focus on rural broadband advocacy. Matt currently holds the position of Vice President and Risk Advisor at UNICO Group. Prior to that, they worked at Mapcom Systems as the Director of Industry Affairs/Sales and Director of Sales and Account Management. Matt also served as a Sr Account Executive and Account Manager during their time at Mapcom Systems. In addition to their industry experience, Matt has been involved on the Board of Directors at WTA: Advocates for Rural Broadband and served on the Associate Member Advisory Council at NTCA-The Rural Broadband Association.
Matt Gilbert attended Bridgman High School from 1997 to 2001. Matt then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication at Grand Valley State University from 2001 to 2005.
