Joy Chukwu-Osazuwa is a highly experienced professional with a focus on policy, economics, and strategy in the field of fisheries and aquaculture. Currently serving as a Policy and Economic Analyst at Fisheries and Oceans Canada since December 2023, Joy also holds the position of Director of Growth and Strategy at unicollegelink and Director of Marketing - Growth and Strategy at Skyned Consults Corporation, both since January 2023 and December 2020, respectively. Prior roles include Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Memorial University of Newfoundland from November 2019 to present, and Assistant Lecturer and Graduate Assistant at Federal University Oye-Ekiti from December 2013 to April 2018. Joy began a career in the field as a Student Intern at the National Institute of Freshwater Fisheries Research in 2009. Academic achievements include a PhD in Marine Biology from Memorial University, a Master's in Fisheries Biology and Management from the University of Lagos, and a Bachelor's degree in Fisheries from the University of Maiduguri.
